Mrs. Pearl Christensen of Richfield Rich-field arrived Monday to visit five days with her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Gates P. Chnstenson in Copperton. Her son, Max Chris-tensen, Chris-tensen, began training with the army air corps reserve at the US AC September 2!i. Gates is in preflight training at San Antonio, Texas. Elmo A. Nelson, president of the Bingham junior chamber of commerce; Joel P. Jensen, state director, and Leland G. Burress, state committee head, attended a meeting of the directors of Utah Jaycees in Salt Lake City Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Arthur Durnford (she's the former Phyllis Phyl-lis I vie) are now at home at St. Louis, where Mr. Durnford, a chemist, was recently transferred. transfer-red. A pink color scheme was followed and baby doll favors fa-vors were at each place. Besides those mentioned, present were Mrs. E. V. Knudsen, Mrs. Ernest Deiderich, Mrs. Lawrence Coleman. Cole-man. Mrs. Charles Sax, Mrs. H. A. Cheever, Mrs. Dallas F. Anderson, An-derson, Mrs. Carl A. Curtis, Mrs. Richard Wells, all of Copperton; Mrs. Marlin Schultz, Mrs. Bruce Ivie Jr., Mrs. Joseph Rawlins and Mis. Elmo A. Nelson. Mrs. Jane Rice of Copperton and William Ellis Boggs of Bingham Bing-ham were married Monday, October Octo-ber 4, in Salt Lake City. They are making their home in Lead Mine. j LOCA L NOTES Regular monthly conjoint meeting meet-ing of No- 2 Firemen and auxiliary auxil-iary was held at their Fire hall last Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Marriott, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Marriott and Mr. and Mrs. B. John Turner in charge. Prizes at Five hundred went to Mrs. Clarence Robison, Mrs. Reno Re-no Marcon, R. R. Marriott and Raymond Marriott. A hot dinner was served to 33 at three long tables decorated with fall flowers. flow-ers. No. 2 Firemen's auxiliary met as guests of Mrs. A. V. Peterson Monday evening. Word has been received from Miss Bette Fifield, recently of Bingham Canyon, that, she is enjoying en-joying attending a Seattle, Wash., nigh school.
