The poles am placed seven Tcet In tho ground. A spaco twelve or clgh-een clgh-een inches will bo dug around every pole through the city to a depth of four feet. This will bo filled with con-reto con-reto for two purposes. First, for tho purpose of making tho poles last longer, lon-ger, and secondly, to give them grent-r grent-r reslstanco against being dtuwn to-vnrd to-vnrd each other when the tight wires ire placed on them, which will carry lie heavy trolley wire. It will require about 100 yards of gravel to set tho poles In Lchl and ouble this amount In American Fork, g each polo will 'require two cubic -rards.
