This morning, ns per revlous setting, set-ting, the motion in arrest of judgment judg-ment in the cav: of Dr. West, convicted con-victed of bigamy and adultery, carro up for argument before Judge Anderson. At the close of the spccjlies by tho nypcctlve counsel. Judge Anderson said be would hold the motion under advisement until next Saturday morning. If tbe motion is granted, the effect ef-fect will ho to let the defendant go scot free, placing him where he was beforetlie prosecution against him was begun. |
