Show The Case uf Hjrum Crane. Itelativcs orHyrura Crane, or Sail Sa-il na, called at this office today and made some explanations regarding b! trial and conviction on a charge or adulter. In our report or the trial the name or the womau with whom the act Is alleged to have been committed is given as luge-lorg luge-lorg Crane. This, they say Is an error. They tate that her maiden name was Christlsnen and that she was never the wife of Hyrum Crane; that the laUr is aged only about twenty years, and I married; that lie stoutly denies his guilt, although he was convicted; con-victed; tbat ln-eborg Chrlstlauten was married about six months lfore her child was born; and that the man refused to father it, aud that she charged Hyrum Crane with being the author of it, and that in this way the prosecution was planted. |
