The President today returned to tho House, without approval, the bill extending payment to the imrchasv ersoflaudof the Omaha tribe of Indians in Nebraska. Tho President, Presi-dent, in his eto, says "There Is no objection that I know of, either on the part of the United States or tbe Indians, to an extension of unpaid un-paid installments due from purchasers. purchas-ers. This relief is probably due to the purchasers." Tho President, however, oljects to the provision "that all land", payment for which is extended, shall be subject to taxation by tbe State of Nebraska as if fully pali for and patents issued."
