OCR Text	Show The I'lnkrrlon Men rtre. Albany, N. Y- Aug. 16. This evening as a freight train manned by Pinkerton men was lasting through the northern art of tlie city several strikers stoned the train. Tlie Pinkerton men fired In the crowd, one ball passing through tlie ankle of John McCarthy, a moulder, standing by. Tho police arrested three of the Pinkerton men. Shortly after the shooting a Pinkerton Pin-kerton assaulted Chris Land with a club, and he was taken Into custody. Another Pinkerton man, who was walking up the track, carrying a loaJed gun and revolver, was arrested arrest-ed and Jailed.
