The Hungarian courts have b been en asked to pass upon a a. breach of or promise case involving a costly fur coat the property property property prop prop- erty of Miss Jeanne Marnae an actress The coat was stolen while she ehe was appearing at a Budapest theatre and she held the theatre director responsible responsible re re- responsible re- re because he had neglected to safeguard her effects while she was wason wason wason on the stage r rA A few tew days later the police poBre notified the actress that the coat had been re s-c- s covered Miss Marnae l was elated So was WM the theatre director The latter assured the actress she asserts that he had really planned to buy her another another another an an- other coat just as good as the one stolen It developed that the police were mistaken about the coat It wasn't the one stolen from the actress The th theatre atre director then was anything I but elated He refused to buy Miss Marnae l another just as good coat or any coat at all and she med flied suit to compel him to keep his promise and reimburse h her r for h her r lost lest coat I
