S H. H Belmont Delmont William H. H Childs Richard Leek and William William Wil Wil- liam There were plenty of automobiles provided for the visitors and the entire caravan proceeded to the capitol and paid a visit to Governor Go Mabey I I Governor Charles R. R Mabey welcomed welcomed wel wel- corned the delegation In the tho Governors Governor's Governors Governor's Gov Gov- room In a brief address in which he be told the delegation that Utah was the one 1 best est place In the country to live e He cited the fact that the beautiful building had the distinction of having been constructed constructed con con- on- on not only within the appropriation made for It but that there was money left after the building was completed In view that the day was SOmewhat somewhat somewhat some SOme- what foggy Governor Mabey called attention to the fact also that this weather was unusual in Salt Lake so that delegation might not leave with a wrong Impression of the city and state He turned the keys of the state over to the party part and wished them a pleasant time in Utah and and and-a a safe trip to the convention city The proc proceeded eded to the American Smelting and Refining plant at Murray and nd inspected the Intricacies of refining ore oro At noon the delegates g gathered at the Granite Granite Gran Gran- ite State Stale building and were entertained enter enter- tamed at lunch by the local brick men the dinner the ilie delegat delegates dele dele- gat gates gats s visited the local brick plants Tonight they will be entertained at ata ata ata a banquet at the Hotel Utah and a musicale at the Tabernacle at 8 30
