O Luncheon April 22 Funds from the proceeds of Bingham district salvage drives were used to pay a bill amounting amount-ing to $29.11 tor groceries which fed the 123 soldiers in the war caravan which visited Bingham district April 22. Mrs. J. Dewey Knudsen was chairman of the committee which prepared the noon meal served at Bingham high school. Assisting her were Mrs. G. O. Swain, Mrs. Harry Sours, Miss Harriett Atkinson, Mrs. Joe A. Jensen, Mrs. J. D. Laycock, Mrs. Mary Davis, Mrs. K. L. Isbell, Mrs. Wayne Hansen, Han-sen, Mrs. L. L. Watson. Mrs. Rex Mills and Mrs. Mike Brisk assisted as-sisted the group in clearing up. Earl T. James,, chairman of the Bingham salvage committee, said that the salvage fund was for projects relating to service men and that since the members of the caravan came under that |
