Show Public Cooperation Asked In Collecting Scrap Aluminum A drive to collect scrap aluminum alum-inum will be conducted In Bingham Bing-ham Canyon today and tomorrow tomor-row (Friday and Saturday) by the American Legion auxiliary to post No. 30 and Boy Scouts, in cooperation with city officials. Anyone having any articles made of aluminum which he would like to contribute to national na-tional defense, is asked to take it to the City hall today or tomorrow, to-morrow, between the hours of 11 a. m. and 3 p. m. Children will be given a free pass to the Princess theatre when they take one piece of aluminum to the City hall. The tickets are good for shows Sunday and Monday, Mon-day, July 13 and 14. In the absence of Mayor Ed W. Johnson, City Councilman C. A. Morley is chairman of the drive. All aluminum gathered here will be sent to Salt Lake City and forwarded from there for national defense purposes. O |
