Show Services Conducted Vednesday For A. AdeJberf Rowland Funeral services for Amasa Adelbert Rowland, 68, formerly of Springville, who died at St. George Saturday of ailments incident to age, were conducted Wednesday afternoon in the- Valley mortuary chapel in Provo. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery, Springville. He was born in Springville March 10, 1881, son of Samuel and Mary Boot Rowland. He received his education in the Springville schools. He worked as an electric engineer en-gineer for the Electric Bond and Share company for many years. His work took him to Old Mexico, Florida, Texas and New York. Two years ago he retired from electric work and went to St. George where he was manager of the Dixie Auto Court until time of his death. Mr. Rowland married Dora Kay Sept. 12, 1911 at Provo. She died Sept. 11, 1944. In October 1945 ho married Elizabeth Campbell Culli-more. Culli-more. He was a member of the LDS church and is survived by hi widow and three sons, Max D. and Blaine Rowland of Springville; Fred K. Rowland, Garland; five grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Kate Pace, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Reene Strong, Springville; Mrs. Lottie McDonald, Ogd;n. |
