Show M Men District 6 Is Divided; Kolob Stake In New District : District 6 of the LDS M Men basketball set-un j which has been the largest district for many ve-us and id which the Kolob stake and 15 other stakes hnv i been competing:, has now been di- j been competing, has now been di-j ; vided it was announced this week. The new division was effected with Springville forming the Northern boundary and being classified as District 5. Owen Rowe, former high school coach here and now of Spanish Fork, has been named as the new district supervisor. Mr. Rowe has had much experience in the hoop sport and has been a leader in church activities. Lloyd Whitlock, who was renamed re-named supervisor of Division 6, had been working for some time to get more representation in the all-church turney from this area. Newly formed Division 5 will include in-clude the following stakes: Carbon, Car-bon, Deseret, Emerv, Juab, Nebo, Kolob. Millard, North Carbon. Palmyra. Pal-myra. San Juan. San Luis, Santa-quin-Tintic and Young stake. Division basketball tourneys will be run off the latter part of February Feb-ruary with winners going into the big All-Church finals in March. |
