V 1 1 . - J v. . t . - ' - V ' x It will undouLledly be a happier Christmas for many bo ys and girls of Springville through the efforts of members of the Jaycec Wives organization, who have already begun on a-project which is to be commended The women ot this group do not merely meet, eat and visit but they are determined that children who may not get their share of Christmas toys this year, will he made a little happier in receiving at least one of the many gifts which they plan to have distributed Christmas eve. . Not only are the girls dressing dolls which have been contributed by members but actual eonstruction ot numerous playthings play-things are going on by this industrious group. Business is rapidly disposed of at regular meetings and members plunge into the work of creating something to make someone happy. . i J p i . Members of the organization declined to have any publicity on their project and were converted to the idea ot having it publicized only to the point that it might stimulate other organizations to begin now to spread the Christmas spirit. As the picture was taken, a few of the group were busy on such articles as stuffed elephants, giralts, a dog. a rabbit, a doll and even a drum, which represented only a few of the articles to be completed. Mrs. Anna.Ostlund, chairman of the committee, with Mrs. Orpha Peay and Mrs. Maurine -Mortensen, assistants, said that special meetings will be called at various periods' from now until Christmas, to complete the project.
