Show LIONS TO ELECT OFFICERS AT JUNE 11 MEETING Nominating Committee Lists Members To Be Voted On At Meet At Chicken Boost Election of officrs of the Springville Spring-ville Lions club is announced for next Wednesday evening, June 11, at a dinner-meeting at Chicken Roost, with Arnold Roylance, retiring re-tiring president, in charge. A fine musical program has also been arranged for the occasion and all Lions are urged to be present. Members selected by a nominating nominat-ing committee, composed of Dr. C. A. King, Paul Haymond, and Dr. Reed Holdaway, to run for office, of-fice, include: For president, Vernon Ver-non Castleton and Lloyd Bird; for first vice-president, La Von Ford and Lawrence Beach; for second vice-president, Gerwin Riding and Jim Nielson; for third vice-president, Albert Snyder and Arvil Bird; for tail twister, Claude Hill and Richard A. Huntington; for Lion tamer, Charles Porter and Ivan Child; secretary, Wilford Manwajig and Jack Robertson; treasurer, Wm. Parry and J. Em-mett Em-mett Bird; directors, two to be elected, Eugene Miner, Charles Straw, Ted Haymond and C. E. Eggertsen. |
