Show o , Personal News Notes Dr. S. Eugene Dalton, prominent promi-nent physician of Atlantic City, N. J., left Sunday to return to his home after spending most of the summer here with his sister and brother-in-law, Mr and Mrs. M. F. Miner, recuperating from a major operation which he underwent at the Boston hospital. During his stay here, he was extensively entertained en-tertained and especially enjoyed several fishing trips and the mountains. With Mr. and Mrs. Miner, he made a trip to Bryce Canyon and Zion park. Later, they went to Yellowstone Park and also fished at Montana lake: They spent some time at Jackson Hole, Wyo., where they fished at Jackson Jack-son and Jenny's lakes. After their trip to Yellowstone, Mr. Miner and Dr. Dalton went to Boulder City, Utah, making a trip into the mountains by horseback, and found the fishing grand. Just Saturday, Sat-urday, they all returned from a trip to Burley, Ida., where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Miner's daughter, Mrs. Marion M. Wright and family, and also enjoyed a view of the new L. D. S. temple soon to be dedicated, at Idaho Falls, Ida. On Sunday,' they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Miner at a dinner at their home, just prior to Dr. Dalton's departure depar-ture for the East. 9 Mr. and Mrs. S.' N. Daniels and twin daughters, Jean and Joan, are Rrtpnriinp- n fpw rtoira in Vasbinders and was a guest at their home often while training in California. ... 1 Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Miller, Mrs. Woodrow Weight, Dorf and Mar-jorie Mar-jorie Miller spent the week-end at Fish Lake. . Mrs. Lee Bullen (Jinny Lee Johnon) left Tuesday for Eugene; Oreg., to join her husband. They will make their home in that city. Mrs. W. E Johnson and children are visiting relatives in Pocatello, and other points in Idaho. . Norman Dunn, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Dunn, will resume his studies as a sophomer in the School of Law at the University of Utah, next Wednesday. He will also take up his work with the Tabernacle Choir, from which he was on leave for the summer. r I o ' " - - Springville from Bellflower, Calif, visiting at the home of Mrs Daniel's Dan-iel's sister, Mrs.N Michael Long and family. .... Leon Blackley spent a few days' vacation last week with relatives and friends at Spring Canyon. . Mrs. Christie S. Atwood left recently re-cently to join her husband at Fort Lewis, Wash. ... Ruth Crandall and Edna Niel-son Niel-son are spending a few days' vacation va-cation with relatives and friends in California. ' Lt. and Mrs. Joseph L. Pace (Pauline Clyde) and two sons visited vis-ited three days of the past week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Clyde, and other relatives. ... Mrs. George E. Adams left Fri- Mr. and Mrs. George Crandall and sons, Carl and Kent, visited the past week with relatives at St. George and also toured Zion canyon. Mrs. Max Larsen and little son are in Springville for an indefinite visit. Mr. Larsen is at present at Kearns, awaiting further assignment. assign-ment. Lee Brown, who have a new baby boy. . . Mrs. Mae Huntington left Saturday Sat-urday to attend the national convention con-vention of Delta Kappa Gamma at Denver, Colo. Mrs. Huntington is retiring president of the Gamma chapter, and she accompanied Ora Jean Chipman of American Fork, state president. . Pfc. and Mrs. Max Douglas and son Ronald came from Long Beach, Calif., the past week to visit at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. J. Binks, at Mapleton Pfc. Douglas is enjoying enjoy-ing a 30-day furlough from service ser-vice in the South Pacifc Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Ollerton and children and Mr. and Mrs. S. H Ollerton and Joyce Ollerton have just returned from an enjoyable enjoy-able trip through Bryce, Zion and the Grand canyons. They also visited vis-ited Boulder Dam and other plac- j es of interest in Nevada, Arizona and Utah. 1 a Mrs. M. G. Anderson and two sons have arrived in Springville to stay indefinitely with her mother, mo-ther, Mrs. Anna Mendenhall, while Lt. Anderson is overseas. ....... D. J. Scalmanini arrived . here the past week from San Francisco, Francis-co, Calif., and visited a few days before accompanying his wife and two sons back to their home in California. They were accompanied accompa-nied by Barbara Kelly, who will visit in California. ... Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Tuft and son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Tuft of Oakland, Cal. visited one day the past week with Mrs. Tuft's sisters, Mrs. J. T. Wheeler, Mrs. J. M. Bate and families. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Phillips and son Bill and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Vane and daughter Marilyn of Salt Lake City spent a delightful week-end at Fish Lake. . .
