Show ORDINANCE An Ordinance Amending Chapter VII of the revised Ordinances of Springville, Utah, passed by the City Council of Springville on April 1, 1931, relating to Bicycles, by adding to said Ordinance Section Sec-tion 19A. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF SPRINGVILLE, UTAH. Section 1. That Chapter VII of the revised Ordinances of Springville, Utah, passed by the City Council of Springville, Utah, on April 1, 1931, relating to bicycles, bi-cycles, be and the same is amended by adding to said Ordinance Section Sec-tion 19A. Section 19A. License. No person, per-son, shall ride any bicycle on any street, sidewalk or public place within this City, unless a license and number plate has been procured pro-cured for the use thereof, as hereinafter here-inafter provided. Such license shall be issued by the City Recorder, Re-corder, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Recorder, after aft-er the payment by the applicant of the sum of Fifty cents ($0.50) for said license per year. Such license shall be effective until the 31st day of December, next following fol-lowing its issuance and shall contain con-tain the name and address of the owner, style, factory number and plate number of said bicycle, which said license shall be non-transferable. There shall be issued with such license a metallic plate stamped with' a number, which plate must be attached in a- conspicuous con-spicuous place on the bicycle where it can be seen at all times. Section 2. All other Ordinaijces or parts of Ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance Ordi-nance are hereby repealed. Section 3. In the opinion of the City Council of Springville, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Springville City, that this Ordinance Ordi-nance shall become effective immediately im-mediately upon its passage and publication.
