Show $ Funeral Services Today 1P.M. For Mrs. Luttie Watts Mrs. Luttie Watts, 65, 512 South Third East street, widow of Jeremiah Jere-miah (Jed) Watts, died Tuesday at the Utah Valley hospital of a lingering illness. Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted today, Thursday, at 1 p. m., in the Second ward chapel, under un-der direction of Bishop Oliver Dal-ton. Dal-ton. Friends may call at the A. Y. Wheeler and Son mortuary before the services,. Burial will be under direction of Aultorest Mortuary of Ogden. . y Mrs. Watts was born in Oak City, September 4, 1883, a daughter daugh-ter of Simeon and Kate Roper Walker. She spent her early life there and was married October 31, 1903, in the Manti Temple. She lived at Leamington with her family until 1935, when she moved to Springville. Before moving mov-ing to this .city she had beeri active ac-tive in church work, serving as a Primary and MIA teacher, and in Leamington. She was a chapter the Relief Society presidency at member of the DUP camp in Springville and had always been active in church work. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Don, Leo, Platte and R. L. Watts; Mrs. Otto (Miona) Ivie, Mrs. Max (Maxine) Rowland, and Mrs. Clyde (June) Peay, all of Springville; Weldon Watts of Salt Lake City; Burnis Watts, Spanish Fork; Burns Watts, Hill Field; also 21 grandchildren grand-children and the following brothers: broth-ers: Wm. H. Walker and Wins-low Wins-low R. Walker, Delta; LeRoy Walker, Clearfield; Lee R. Walker, Springville, and one sister, Mrs. Clara Stout, Salt Lake City. |
