Show The United States exported $115 , million worth of aeronautical products prod-ucts in 1946, mostly surplus, and I the outlook is good for continued heavy exports, according to the iDept. of Commerce. E xports included in-cluded 2,343 civil airplanes, valued !at $54,200,000 ; 59 military planes, valued a,t more than $1 million; 3490 aircraft engines, $11,800,000; $12,855,000 of aircraft engine parts j and accessories and $7 million of t other parts and accessories. The , heavies volume went to France, ' which received $14,221,079 worth. CALIFORNIA WILL CELEBRATE A 3-YEAR CENTENNIAL California will celebrate a three-year three-year centennial from 1948 to 1950 to mark the anniversary of the discovery of gold in that state, the gold rush that followed, adoption of the state's first constitution and admission of the state to the Union. The observance is expected expect-ed to stimulate a major movement of tourists and vacationists across the United States. |
