Show Society IUJENO AMIGO CLUB i AT REGULAR MEET A regular meeting of the Eueno A ml go club was held last Friday evening, at the home of Mrs. Ruth Webber. Sewing was enjoyed after af-ter which Mrs. Thclma Beardall gave the story, "You Can't Go Hack," by Francis W. Quinlin, and the hostess presented her with a lovely gift. Following the story, a delicious luncheon was served by the hostess, hos-tess, assisted by her daughter, Diane. Present were, Mrs. Ber-nice Ber-nice Paxman, Mrs. Beth Johnson, Mrs. Raynor Hatfield, Mrs. Vera McKee, Mrs. Thclma Carter, Mrs. Naomi McKco, Mrs. Thelma Beardall, Bear-dall, Mrs. Eulalia Livingston and Fayen Roundy of Provo, the latter lat-ter two being guests. JEUNE MERE CLUB ENJOYS PAPER Mmbers of the Jeune Mere club were delightfully entertained on Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Naomi Thorn. An interesting interest-ing paper on "The History of Chi- na and the Family of Madame Chiang Kai-Shek" was given by Mrs. Marie Whiting, to feature the meeting. A nicely arranged luncheon was served before the program to the following: Mrs. Florence Allan, Mrs. Lenore Bills, Mrs. Margaret Blackett, Mrs. Florence Nielson, Mrs. Faye Lundquist, Mrs. Mabel Wright, Mrs. Naomi Crandall, Mrs. Faye Haymond, Mrs. Beth Jensen, Mrs. Mary Palfreyman, Mrs. Marie Whiting and the hostess. RELATIVES ENTERTAINED AT BIRTHDAY PARTY Mrs. Joe Miller was hostess at a dinner at her home on Sunday in celebration of her birthday. Dinner was served at one long table to Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thorn and family, Mrs. Henreitta Har-mer, Har-mer, Mr. and Mrs. Miller and their children. COUPLE HONORED AT HOUSE WARMING Mr. and Mrs. Ernest V. Holt were given a house warming party par-ty last Monday evening by a group of relatives. Arrangements for the party were under direction of Mrs. C. L. Butler and it was held at the Holts new home in Brookside Park. During the evening, Beryle Boy-er Boy-er entertained with slight-of-hand performances and the group also enjoyed games and visiting. A delicious de-licious luncheon was served in conclusion to about 35 relatives. FIELITY CLUB MEMBERS ARE ENTERTAINED Mrs. Mary Clegg was hostess to members of the Fidelity club at a delightful party at her home Thursday evening. The group enjoyed en-joyed cards and a nicely arranged luncheon. Mrs. Faye Cranmer won high-score high-score prize during the games with Mrs. Olive Miller, second and Mrs. Florence Boyer, third. Others attending the party were Mrs. Rose Roylance, Mrs. Floss Cates, Mrs. Margie Davis and Mrs. Ann Johnson. DINNER HONORS DEPARTING SERVICEMAN Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gottfredson entertained at a dinner at their home in honor of Leonard J. Gab-bitas, Gab-bitas, son of Mrs. Gottfredson, who has gone into the Navy. The guests included, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Carver and family, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Gabbitas and family, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Gabbitas and family. |
