Show Shooting Range Opens Sunday At Hobble Creek Announce Officers Starting Sunday, Aug. 28, the Springville Wildlife Wild-life Federation, under the supervision of Keith Weight, will open its newly constructed trap and rifle range up Hobble Creek Can-' yon. Federation president, Reed Averett made the announcement, following several weeks' work on the project bp sportsmen and members. Sponsored by the Wildlife group, the ranges have been supervised by Alma Miner with many others interested assisting. Captain Max Alleman and Sgt. Robert Bring-hurst Bring-hurst were especially helpful with National Guard equipment and advice. ad-vice. The city assisted as did Thorpe Brothers and Arvile Child. The Federation has pigeons and shells if anyone wishes to purchase pur-chase them. The trap range will be in charge of Keith Weight, while the rifle range will be supervised sup-ervised by Maurice Anderson. Each individual should furnish his own Bullseye. There is a small fee being charged for the trap range for maintenance only, but the rifle range is open to the public pub-lic free of charge. Shoots will be conducted each Sunday at the range from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. President Averett announced. an-nounced. The range is located one-half one-half mile east of the mouth of the canyon. |
