Show Services Today In Fourth Ward For Roy B. Cafes Funeral services for Roy B. Cates, 60, who died Monday morn-inr morn-inr in a Provo hospital, will be conducted today at 2 p. m. in the Fourth ward chapel, under the direction di-rection of Bishop V. O. Menden-hall Menden-hall of the Third ward. Friends may call at the family home, 199 East Fourth North street, until time of the services on Thursday. Mr. Cate was born in Montrose, Colo., Dec. 31, 1S88, a son of Charlie Char-lie and Christina Johnson Cate. He spent his early youth there and in 1911 came to Springville, where he worked as an electrical engineer on the Strawberry reservoir project. proj-ect. He was married to Floss Johnson John-son in 1912 and shortly after moved to Bingham, where he worked as a machinist. The family fam-ily moved to Springville in 1927, where he had been engaged in the poultry business until the time of his death. Survivors include his widow and two daughters: Mrs. Dan Cope-land, Cope-land, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Bert Gill, Springville; two brothers: broth-ers: George W. Cates, Provo, and Walter Cates, Beatty, Nevada, and six grandchildren. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery. I |
