Show RED DEVILS TO PLAY AT MURRAY FRIDAY Ray Miller Leads Devils In 37-24 Win Over Emery; Ileber Trounces Locals 46-22 The Springville high school Red Devils will meet the Murray Smel-terites Smel-terites on the latter's floor this Friday night. The Murray five, who played in the state finals last year, have a strong club again this year, having tucked away a 38-28 win over the West High Panthers. The contest should definitely help . settle the question of how strong the Devils will be for the coming season. Last Thursday, the locals defeated de-feated the visiting North Emery club here 37-24 in an erratic and listless affair. Springville took a commanding lead to start with and the subs maintained a good portion of that throughout the contest. Ray Miller played outstandingly out-standingly for the Devils. Saturday night, the Devils traveled trav-eled to Heber to play the Wasatch Wasps, B state champs of last year. Springville came back home with a severe 46-22 stinging. Ray Miller, who, to date, has been Springville's one hope in the scoring scor-ing column, counted half of the Red Devil's points. Murdock, for Heber, counted 18 points and played a good game, to lead his mates in the overwhelming victory. vic-tory. Springville will meet the Wasps on the local court Wednesday, Dec. 20.
