Bridge was the feature of entertainment following fol-lowing a nicely arranged luncheon. lunch-eon. Prizes for the evening's games were won by Mrs. Margaret Black-ett Black-ett and Mrs. Florence Allen. Attending At-tending were twelve club members and two guests, Mrs. Amy Klauck and Mrs. Eleanor Childs. The next meeting of the club was set for November 26, at the home of Mrs. Beth Jensen at Ma-pleton. Ma-pleton. CAMP SPRINGVILLE, D. IT. P., WILL MEET TODAY at the home of Mrs. Etta Jones, with a program and cake sale scheduled for the afternoon beginning be-ginning at 2 o'clock. All camp members are urged to be present. s A late autumn marriage was that of Norman Thorn, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Thorn of this city, and Helen Rowene Stickney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan W. Stickney of Payson, which took place on Thursday, October 27, at Elko, Nev. Complimenting the J'oung couple, a wedding reception was held in the Payson Third ward hall on Saturday evening, with a large group of Springville relatives and friends attending. The bride was lovely in a pale blue taffeta with a corsage of pink rosebuds. Howard Thorn was best man. LaRae Butler and Mary Hurst were bridesmaids and Mrs. Lenore Livingston was matron of honor. The entertainment consisted of a program, dancing, and refreshments. |
