Show JAYCEES TO HEAR REPORT ON CARSON CITY MET The regular Junior Chamber of Commerce meeting this evening will be devoted to a discussion of the closing of the structural steel mill at Geneva, and Americanism topics, according to Kay Johnson, president. A. O. Thorn, president of the Chamber of Commerce, and Grant Thorn, state vice-president of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, were both delegates to Carson City, Nev., where a formal discussion discus-sion of the proposition was carried on during an interstate conference of post-war development, and these men will be the principal speakers at the Jaycee meet. President Johnson yrges all members to attend thi meeting as this current subject, which means so much in this area, merits mer-its the attention and interest of every Jaycee member. President Johnson also announces announ-ces that the Americanism contest being conducted at the Junior and Senior high schools under direction direc-tion of Ted Haymond, is well underway un-derway and prizes of war stamps are to be awarded the winner In each division. |
