Show SCRAP DRIVE IN THIS CITY FAROVER TOP The latest reports on the drive for scrap metal in Springville show that a total of 807,309 pounds have been collected, which, basing the population of the city at 5,000, 1 equals 161.5 pounds per person. Springville, according to the report re-port is far ahead of the county in its quota of scrap metal, and has succeeded in collecting more than most other cities of its size in the vicinity. A drive is now on to collect old and useless keys as part of the drive and anyone with keys to contribute con-tribute are asked to leave them at the local theatre lobby, or the Herald Her-ald office. Already quite a number num-ber of useless keys have been turned in. Emil Ostlund is chairman chair-man of the drive. |
