Show Young Couple Wed In The Salt Lake Temple A SHOWER FOR HELEN NELSON bride-elect, was given by Mrs. Lois Child and Miss Ila Clyde, at the home of the latter on Thursday evening. The entertaining rooms were beautifully decorated with roses and other autumn flowers. Entertainment Enter-tainment consisted of a one-act play given by Miss Virginia Rivers and accordian selections by Miss Louise Clyde. In conclusion a tasty luncheon was served by the hostesses to approximately ap-proximately 25 relatives and friends. MRS. FLORENCE NELSON WAS CLUB HOSTESS to members of the Jeune Mere group at her home on Wednesday evening. Following a delicious luncheon, the club trio -entertained with selections, accompanied by Mrs. Yvonne Johnson. Mrs. Marie Whiting gave an interesting talk on "What Shall We Teach Our Child About Etiquette." The entertainment enter-tainment also featured the exchange ex-change of recipes. Special guests at the meeting were Mrs. Olive Bray, Mrs. Leah Huff, and Mrs. Gladys Averett. Elliott Cameron, well known high school athlete, is attending school at the B. A. C, Cedar City, this year. He has -been elected president of his class, according to reports. Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Lucille Walker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Walker of this city, and Theon Laney, son of Bishop and Mrs. G. C. Laney, which took place September Sep-tember 16 in the Salt Lake temple. tem-ple. The young couple left the following fol-lowing Sunday for San Luis Obispo, Obis-po, Calif., to make their home. Mr. Laney is in the National Guard. MRS. MAE HUNTINGTON WAS CLUB HOSTESS to members of the Mothers' Study group at her home Friday evening. eve-ning. President Gladys Boyer was in charge. Two vocal solos were given by Miss Hannah Rowland, accompanied by Mrs. Belle Thomas, Thom-as, after which the play, "Claudia," by Rose Franken, was given in an interesting manner by Mrs. Sterling Ster-ling Ercanbrack of Provo, vice-president vice-president of the Utah Federation.
