Show NEW OFFICERS NAMED AT POULTRY MEETING Clyde C. Edmonds, general manager man-ager of the Utah Poultry Cooperative Coopera-tive Association, Salt Lake City, was the principal speaker at the annual meeting of the local Producers Pro-ducers Association meeting last Wednesday evening, in the High School Art building. His talk centerd around problems prob-lems of producers in regard to feed and egg prices and he urged association members to enlist in a regular bond-buying program. Arvil Bird, manager of the local poultry plant, spoke briefly, statJ ing that feed sales at the local plant the past year had increased approximately 17 percent and that egg .production had increased about 10 percent. R. D. Frazier, president, was in charge of the meeting. Jack Cherrington entertained with vocal selections, accompanied accompa-nied by Mrs. Lola Weight and the Leonard sisters gave vocal and instrumental selections, and Dick Conover and Clarence Smith entertained with vocal music. During the meeting, officers for the coming year were elected: They are: Bliss Childs, Don Miner, Min-er, Frank Jensen, A. E. Jacobsen and Warren Beardall, and from these will be chosen a president and secretary, and the remainder will be members of the board. At the close of the meeting, lunch was served to aprpoximate-ly aprpoximate-ly seventy members and their partners. |
