Show New Method of Delivery Is Tried You may one day be getting your winter's supply of coal by pipeline, if a project to be tested by industrial research in eastern Ohio proves a commercial success. A coal company has announced plans for building a pipeline more than three miles long to pump coal mixed with water from a strip mining site to a point near Cadiz, Ohio. There the coal will be dried and made ready for purchasers. The process has been tested at a pilot plant in Pennsylvania. The pipeline will cost about $550,000. |
