Show Big 4-Day Homecoming To Mark Centennial A spirit of cooperation and enthusiasm was evident evi-dent at the meeting Tuesday evening at the City Hall, called bv the Chamber of Commerce to outline a ten- tative plan for Springville's Fourth of July Centennial celebration. Approximately Ap-proximately thirty-five people representing rep-resenting 31 mens and ladies organizations or-ganizations in the city were present. pre-sent. W. J. Phillips turned the meeting meet-ing over to Grant Thorn, who was recently appointed chairman of the celebration and the 4-day program pro-gram was set up as follows: July 1 Old Time Dance, Saturday Satur-day night. July 2 Church service, visiting, program at City, Park. . July 3 Miniature Parade in the evening Rodeo Auto Races. July 4 Full scale parade, patriotic pat-riotic program on Park, kiddies entertainment, sunrise salute, ball games, trap shoot, rodeo, races, queen contest(honiecoming). The committee felt that all types of entertainment should be featured during the centennial celebration so that everyone might participate. L. Thorpe and Mrs. Gwen Cutler; Finance, J. A. Miller, Murray Peay and Mrs. Orvil Clark.
