S Construction on Phone Job to Cost Near $20,000 Telephone construction jobs costing approximately $20,000 will be completed in the Springville and Mapleton areas during the next four months, according to John W. Snell, district manager of the Mountain States Telephone Company. These projects, part of a statewide state-wide program, will provide additional addi-tional lines to furnish service for subscribers who are now waiting as well as providing better grades of service for thbse who have requested re-quested them. Mr. Snell stated .that as a result of this construction-and similar projects in other parts of the state, the telephone company expects to have very few, if any, held orders for telephone tele-phone service in its files by the end of 1955. The Springville' and Mapleton projects, when completed, will have required approximately nine months of planning and work by engineers, skilled construction workers, and cable splicers.
