Mrs. Emma Em-ma Groesbeck also accompanied Mrs. Bird and daughter from Salt Lake City and was the dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Packard. Pack-ard. Miss Rhoda Groesbeck, here for the week end accompanied them on their return to Salt Lake City. Springville relatives and friends were delighted Thursday noon of last week to se two former Springville people, Reed and Elsie Sumsion Peery on the Art Link-letter Link-letter TV program originating in Los Angeles. They introduced an elderly couple to compete in the contest for their service to fellow men and for their prize Mr. and Mrs. Peery received a beautiful silverware set. Mrs. Peery is the daughter of Mr .and Mrs. Elvin Sumsion of SpringviHe. Mrs. Cecil Haydock and family at Receda. She will attend the wedding v of her granddaughter, LaVei'e Haydock on November 17. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Carnesecca accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Carnesecca, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Carnesecca all of Mapleton, returned recently from a week's vacation and business trip on the west coast.
