Chase Miner had reared 15 sons and daughters. They were married 67 years. Glen Oakey is convalescing from I an accident in which he fractured his ribs and has a deep gash on his knee. The accident occured when a team of horses he was driving down Hobble Creek canyon, ran away. Springville's tax levy was made this week at 18.30 mills; Mapleton is set at 11 mills. The Nebo school district levy is placed at 8.20 mills. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Conover have returned from an enjoyable vacation vaca-tion trip to Yellowstone Park. Mrs. Sam Dallin, assisted by Mrs. John Blanchard and Mrs. John Hardy entertained at a 'miscellaneous 'mis-cellaneous shower. Saturday evening eve-ning at the Dallin home complimentary compli-mentary to Miss Virginia Dallin, who is to be married this month. Members of the Firemens Auxiliary Aux-iliary met at the fire hall Monday night to practice their chorus work and cards were also enjoyed. H. T. Reynolds, Jr., is a candidate candi-date for National committeeman of the American Legion for 1935-36, 1935-36, his name to be placed before the state convention at the annual meeting to be in Richfield. He was elected). Mr. and Mrs. Glen Whitmore of this city announce the birth of a daughter at the Crane Maternity Home Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Felix announce an-nounce the birth of a baby son at a local hospital. Mrs. Felix is the former Gladys Thompson. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Hatfield are the proud parents of a baby daughter daugh-ter born July 31, at the Crane hospital. |
