Show Composition By Dr. Leon Da!!in Is VeSl Received A recent performance cf "Interlude." "Inter-lude." organ composition by Dr. Leon Dalhn of the Brigham Young University music faculty, was announced an-nounced by Stanley R. Plummer, concert organist. Mr. Plummer, faculty member of ' , i r IF' -.. ' I ! i ,- , : ' land, Seattle, Yakima, and Spokane. Spo-kane. Mr. Plummer also has programmed pro-grammed Dr. Dallin's Professional Prelude and Fugue in February in Spokane at a recital to be sponsored spon-sored by the American Guild of Organists. "Interlude" has received previous pre-vious performances by the noted Tabernacle organist, Alexander Schreiner, on his national network broadcasts. Dr. Dallin is the son of the Glen L. Dallins of Long Beach, Calif., former residents of Springville, where Dr. Dallin was reared. Dr. Leon Dallin the Whitman College, Walla Walla, Wash., presented the number at a civic Christmas Candlelight Service Ser-vice there. The work was well-received, according ac-cording to Mr. Plummeir, who also has scheduled it for performance in recitals to be presented in Port- |
