Show Ladies Literary Club $ Hears Book Review The second meeting of the year for members of the Ladles Literary club was held at the home of the president, Mrs. Berton Groesbeck, Ihursday evening of last week. Mrs Helen Anderson, vice-president, was in charge. The program featured a review of the book "Memories," by Ethel Barrymore in which she tells of her life from her girlhood to the time her talent demanded a salary of $1200 weekly, given by Rea Straw. . The review constituted a part of the year's club program on distinguished dis-tinguished women, Miss Barry-more Barry-more representing the theater. Lunch was served early by the hostess assisted by her daughter Janet. The next meeting was announced an-nounced for October 20 at the home of Mrs. LaCelle Sumsion. |
