Show BYU Leadership Week VIil Attract Many from SpringviUe Next Week r Many townspeople, especially LDS church members, mem-bers, will attend the various lectures, exhibits, classes, workshops and other functions being conducted in connection with the annual leadership lead-ership week at the BYU, Provo, beginning Monday. The official program of events announces registration on Sunday, June 20 from 2 until 9 p.m., in the Housing Office, Student Service Ser-vice Center and in the Joseph Smith Building. Monday, registration registra-tion and information center will be in the Joseph Smith Building. It will open at 7 a.m., and remain open throughout the day and every day throughout the leadership week. Admittance to classes and other functions will be only with a name card secured when registering. There is no charge for registration. registra-tion. Most of the exhibits for lead- ership week will be in the Heber J. Grant Library. Flower arrangements arrange-ments will be displayed in the Butler But-ler Hut just north of the Brimhall building. A special exhibit, "Man's Right to Knowledge and the Free Use There of," sent by the bicentennial bicen-tennial celebration of Columbia University will be displayed in the south corridor of the Physical Science building. There will be workshops, lectures, lec-tures, demonstations, and picture shows given practically every hour of the day from Monday through Friday. A special event will be given each evening beginning at 8:15 p.m., with registration cards required re-quired for admittance. Monday night will be "In Time of Harvest," 3-act play in, which Mrs. Wm. Schreiner, Jerrol Boyer and Don Watts of SpringviUe, with others take part. Tuesday evening will be a musical musi-cal concert, name card admits all without charge. Anna Kaskas, vocalist; vo-calist; John Wummer, flutist and Joseph Wolman, concert pianist will perform. Wednesday 8:15 p.m. Pagan-ini Pagan-ini Quartet, name card admittance. Thursday 8:15 p.m., 8th annual symposium on the Archaeology of the Scriptures in the Joseph Smith banquet hall and dance and social in the Smith ballroom. Friday the Paganini Quartet. All the evening events are in the Smith building assembly hall. Upon registration, each one will receive a program telling the time of each event and the place it will be held. |
