Show 20-30 Club Asks Public To Help Sub-for-Santa Springville 20-30 club members under the chairmanship chair-manship of Dr. Creed Brimhall, are extending an invitation in-vitation to shopping citizens to assist in the sub for aania campaign spunsujcu oiuiu-ally oiuiu-ally by the group. To mako it more convenient for townsfolk to help in the project, a number of boxes have been placed plac-ed in the various business houses where shoppers can contribute a gift or a toy while doing their shopping. Placards on the boxes were done by the high school art department, with entries given cash prizes. The prize placard is shown in the picture. Besides the boxes in the business houses, the Twenty-thirtians are giving away turkeys and hams this Saturday evening at 6 p.m. Contributions in this connection (Continued on Page 6) 20-30-C!ub Asks Sub-for-Santa Help (Continued from Page 1) are being accepted by any club member and prizes will go to the lucky ticket holder. Should the winners be unable to pick up their prize, it will be delivered. Regular 20-30 meeting tonight at 7:30 at Memorial hall will fea-true fea-true a work night and President Wendell Winger is asking every member to bring usable toys, serviceable ser-viceable clothing, canned food or bottled fruit. All articles contributed, including includ-ing funds from the turkey-ham project, wil go into the sub for Santa project and will be distributed distribu-ted by the club on Christmas eve to Springville's needy families. |
