From the 14 finalist student above, three will be winners in the Jaycee sponsored "I Speak For Democracy Contest," and will be guests of the Junior Chamber banquet this evening at 8 p. m., at Kapps Melody Inn. The winner will be presented with a typewriter, and second and third place winners will be given pen and pencil sets. The banquet this evening, at which the winners will give their speeches, will be under direction of JC President Bill Averett. .Club members' partners will be guests. Judging the winners from the 14 finalists were: Professor C. LaVar Bate- man' of the BYU speech department, and Bert Assey and Rae-mona Rae-mona Kirkham, Provo high school speech instructors.
