Financing of the clinic to date has come from city, state, and county agencies, school districts, civic clubs and individuals but has proved inadequate to see the clinic clin-ic through its second year of operation. oper-ation. During its first 18 months of operation, the clinic has made contact con-tact with 491 children and parents for treatment. Of this total 43 are currently under treatment, 64 have completed treatment, 48 are awaiting await-ing treatment, 25 are currently in the process of evaluation and 40 have not completed treatment because of failure to meet appointments. ap-pointments. Efforts will be made during the Child Guidance Clinic Week to raise a total of $9000 in the county-wide drive. It is estimated that it will require this amount to see the clinic through the remainder of the year and until additional money can be obtained from county, coun-ty, state or federal agencies. |
