Show Parents, Friends Attend Recital Mrs. Warren Tonks entertained parents and friends of her piano students with a recital on Sunday afternoon at her home. Light refreshments re-freshments were served after the program to a large group. Taking part were the following: Machael Gardner, Allan Pennington, Penning-ton, Raymond Bird, Carolyn Hatch, Linda Child, Geniel Riding, Marilyn Mari-lyn Barker, Mary Lynn Blackett, Ann Roylance, Suzann Strong, Jeanine Holley, Georgia Mae Ash-craft. Ash-craft. Also during the afternoon, Suzanne Strong gave the life of the composer, Bach. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Thorpe and son, Calvin, and Mr. Thorpe's sister, sis-ter, Mrs. O. F. Burton of Salt Lake City returned recently from a 10-day trip to Southern California. Califor-nia. Enroute to the coast, they stopped in Ely, Nev., and saw the Leyman Caves and they also toured tour-ed Scotty's Castle in Death Valley. They visited Mrs. G. H. West in El Segunda and Mrs. Burton visited visit-ed Dr. and Mrs. R. A. Snow at Santa Monica. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Stone at Long Beach and spent two days in San Diego. |
