Show GITY SOFTBALL LEAGUE ORGANIZED In addition to the Central Utah ( League softball team already or-i or-i ganized in Springville, several teams to comprise the city rec-; rec-; reational league are being organized, organ-ized, according to a report by Director Dir-ector E. S. Groesbeck. Among those already entered in the recreational league are the Kiwanis club, Commercial club, j. Business Men, American Legion, Ute Service, Mapleton and Spring-vill Spring-vill City Employees. Schedules are being drawn to include the above in the regular summer recreational recrea-tional league games. Others who may come in later are Future Farmers, (Ag Club), Jack's Service and Eddington Canners. Should there be other groups who desire to sponsor a , team this season, they should contact con-tact E. S. Groesbeck immediately. immediate-ly. The city ball park is in excellent excel-lent condition for games this summer and it is the desire of recreation officials that the center cen-ter be kept clean and respectable and remain a place in which everyone every-one may enjoy the finest type of sports possible. All are urgently requested to support the city and. tae loyal to the recreational activities acti-vities sponsored therein. The program pro-gram is outlined for the public and the public is entitled to participate par-ticipate in each phase of entertainment. |
