Show W. W. Clyde Named for Mayor; Farm -Labor Party Enters Ticket At a well attended Citizen's Party primary under the direction direc-tion of Chairman Virgil Bird, ' held Friday night, at Memorial hall, the following candidates were nominated to be voted on at the city election November 2: V. W. Clyde for mayor; Selvoy J. Boyer, for 4-ycar councilman; Dr. John R. Anderson, Maurice Bird and Claude E. Eggertson, 2-year councilmen; Harry Pennington, Pen-nington, city recorder and Mrs. Eva Crandall, for treasurer. A petition was filed in the recorder's office Inst week with the following candidates listed under the Independent ticket: A. O. Thorn for mayor; H. T. Reynolds Jr., 4-year councilman; Emil Ostiund, Ed Johnson, David Friel, 2-year councilmen; William Wil-liam Bringhurst, city . recorder and Mrs. Eliza Russell, treasurer. The third ticket to be filed with the city recorder, is that of the Farm-Labor headed by Andrew An-drew Porter for mayor. Other candidates are: H. C. Rigtrup for 4-year councilman; William Wor-then, Wor-then, Delbert Conover and George Gabbitas, for 2-year councilriTen and Charles Clements for city recorder. The last registration day before be-fore election is set for October 26. Citizens arc urged to sec if 'they are registered, otherwise they will be unable to vote at the city election. |
