High school Future Farmers are working on their public speaking speak-ing speeches, the winning one of which will be given at the F. F. district oratorical contest, April 13, at Provo. A stock judging team will be selected from the high school Future Fu-ture Farmers soon, to participate ' in the stock show contests at Spanish Fork, W. H. Anderson instructor announces. The First ward "M" Men basket- ball team champions of Kolot ' stake and Provo district, were ' guests of honor at a social given j by the First ward M. I. A. Tuesday Tues-day night. Sam Sorenson, Brigham Young university student from Springville, Spring-ville, will' play the role of "Eddie" in "The Milky Way," annual boys' show, according to Professor T. Farl Pardoe, chairman of the speech department, who will produce pro-duce the play. Mr. Sorenson was graduated ' from the Springville high school in ' the spring of 1934, and entered the B. Y. U. last fall. He is arts, and is a member of the "Y" Eagles club, an organization of 1 Eagle scouts. |
