Show WAGE BILL HIT IN NEW ATTACK WASHINGTON, Dec. 14 (f.I!) New assaults were launched in the house and senate today apainst two of the administration's administra-tion's special session program measures. Chairman Sam Mc Reynolds, D., Tenn., of the House Foreign Affairs Af-fairs committee sugented in floor debate that President RoohcvoH has not read the house version of the wape-hour bill and may not fuvor it. A new attack on the constitutionality of the senate farm bill impeded efforts of administration ad-ministration leaders to drive the measure to an early vote. "I dare say' the president had not re3d this bill," McReynolds asserted. "Business conditions now are far different from what they were in M;y when he sent his message on wages and hours. Have you heard a word from him? No Democratic pledge could possibly justify this bill." |
