Show KIWANIS CLUB AT HOT POTS Dr. Carl W. Douglas, professor profes-sor of education at the University of Minneapolis, who has been teaching at the B. Y. U. summer school, -discussed the effects of education upon the economic conditions con-ditions of our country, at the Ki-wanis, Ki-wanis, Club meeting, Thursday night. The meeting was held at Midway Hot Pots in the form of a chicken supper and program. Dancing and bathing were also "enjoyable features. The program during the evening even-ing under the direction of F. C. Packard, toastmaster, included music by Ralph Weight and his son,' Newell Weight and Mrs.-Mary Mrs.-Mary Bird; a toast to the men by Mrs. W. W. Clyde and response by M. R. Straw. Harrison Con-over Con-over also gave a burlesque talk : on "Kiwanis Ideals." Approximately 65 Kiwanis club members and partners were in attendance. |
