Show Pageant to Feature The Kolob Stake Quarterly Conference Kolob stake quarterly conference confer-ence will De held in Springville Saturday and Sunday, announces President J. Emmett Bird. The opening session will be in charge of the priesthood, Saturday night, in the Fourth ward chapel. The general sessions Sunday at 10 a. m., and at 2 p. m will also be held in the Fourth ward chapel. One of the church general authorities au-thorities is expected to be in attendance. at-tendance. Something different in the form of a pageant by the Bee Hive girls oi Kolob stake is announced lor the closing" conference meeting meet-ing at the hign school auditorium at 7 p. m., Sunday. Practically every girl in the Bee Hive department de-partment will take part. The production pro-duction is under the uirecuon of Janet Crandall, Ellen Anderson and Beile Thomas, music and drama leaders of the stane and the stake leaders, Arlene Mendenhall, Thelma Thel-ma Caller and Eva Hindmarsh. Boys from the scout troops will also take part. Miss Elaine Brockbank will be the reader. Others cast in the pageant are Menyn naa, as girlhood; girl-hood; Luell Best and company, knowledge; Fourth ward group, health; Mary Smart, Dona Snell, womanhood; Second ward group, faith; First ward, beauty,., work and lait'n; Third ward, service. The flag bearers will be from the Second ward, and the finale, chorus from the Fourth ward. Mark Eddington is the reader from the scouts and Jay Robinson will be trumpet soloist. During tue program service awards will be presented to Thelma Thel-ma Carter, Floss Harmer, Mclba Mall and Vera Chipman, the lat-ler lat-ler from Thistle. - - Everyone is invited to attend. |
