They iave no use for such things as radios, autos, movies, phono- raphs. Queer? Yes, indeed. But the other day an Amish com-i com-i lunity heard that there were thousands of men in Cleveland I ho could not get work and who, in consequence, could not at. And at once the Amish loaded their wagons with farm roduce and trekked all the way to the city, to serve free I leals to the jobless. In the book that the Amish, along with many other sects, evere as holy, there is the observation: "By their fruits ie shall know them." |
