Two parades comprised of more than 50 units, contrasting contrast-ing pioneer life with the present mode of living, are distinct features of the day. This evening's parade gives promise of a unique illuminated spectacle, in which fireworks and tableaux will present something new, it is stated. j Civic, church and patriotic organization ; are joining ! with business houses of the city to make the day outstanding i in the history of the city, according to Mr. Barron. Argyle, will comprise 1 the Fourth ward's ftoat. The Mothers' Study, Home Cul- lure, Kiwanis, ana 4-H cluhs will i all enter floats, as will the Amer-I Amer-I ican Legion. American Legion Auxiliary, and practically everv business house of the city. Colum-1 Colum-1 bia Steel, Springville Canning and the local poultry association, will I all have floats, it is said. ' 1 Kvnning Farado At 8:30 -The evening parade will begin at 8:30. marching from Fourlh South to Fourth North street. This will be illuminated and will present a. number of tableaux, committee members annrTnce. From vafViin floats spectacular displays of fireworks fire-works will be seen, under the direction di-rection of the Tntcrmountain Fireworks Fire-works company of Idaho Falls, Idaho. This promises to be one of the most interesting and beautiful parades of its kind ever seen in this section of the state. During the early afternoon a pro- gram of sports will be carried out f for ihe young people.
