Show SERVICES FOR L. J. HARWARD HELD FRIDAY Funeral services for Leonard Julian Harward, former resident of of Springville, who died in Los Angeles, An-geles, Calif., were held Friday afternoon after-noon in the First ward chapel. G. L. Beardall of the ward bishopric was in charge. The speakers' were Ernest M. Boyer, life-long friend of Mr. Harward, Har-ward, and President J. Emmett Bird of Kolob stake. A ladies' quartet from the First ' ward including Mrs. C. H. Child, 1 Mrs. Floss Phillips', Mrs. Grace . Loveridge and Mrs. Lola Weight furnished two musical selections; Elmo Coffman rendered a vocal solo accompanied at the piano by Mrs. LeCell Sumsion; C. H. Child furnished a cello solo with piano accompaniment by Mrs. Lola Weight. Bishop A. W. Cherrington offered the invocation and Daniel Witney of the bishopric the 'oenediction. J. H, Man waring dedicated the grave at the Evergreen cemetery. |
