' I h i : 5, .; 3 ' f .-. lb" " ' , " After a conference held at the city and county building of a num.- i bcr of Democratic workers who are particularly interested in the candidacy of Lee Madsen Tor county clerk on the Democratic ticket, Mr. Madsen has consented to permit his name to come before the Democratic county convention at Provo, Sept. 24, for nomination into that office. Mr. Madsen has been active in the business and political affairs of this county and state for a number of years, and has well fitted himself fcr such position. He is a man of unquestionable integrity, and his many friends feel that if the voters see fit to elect him to the office the county's business will be most efficiently handled. He is a native of Utah, and has received his education and training entirely within the state. He has been actively connected with various vari-ous lines of business, and has a vision of the future of Utah county that should especially fit him as one of its leaders. With his experience and understanding under-standing of the requirements and responsibilities of such an office, there is no doubt but that Mr. Madsen would give the county a successful administration.
