Show COUNTY FAIR BOARD MEETS The 1930 Utah county, fair was operated within its budget appropriation, appro-priation, according to a financial report submitted to the executive committee by Clayton Jenkins, i treasurer, Monday. While the attendance was slightly under that of the previous year, the fair management feels that sub-stantial sub-stantial progress is being made, as ! the general admission charge of 1930 was increased over that of he former year. It was shown that some permanent perman-ent improvements were made last year, and the committee feels that there is a growing sentiment throughout th county that the fair is one institution that should receive re-ceive wholehearted support of the people of every community. Plans for the 1931 fair were discussed, dis-cussed, and a number of improvements improve-ments suggested. The county fair board will meet later in the week with the executives of other fairs of the state in Salt Lake, to discuss plans of mutual interest to the various va-rious counties, it was announced. Among those at Monday's meeting were, John F. Mendenhall, president presi-dent of the board; Neil Dahle, of Spanish Fork; C. L. Warnick, manager; man-ager; Clayton Jenkins, treasurer i and Orlo Allen, secretary. |
